Let us tell you something – there is no weather forecast for Bocas! Even though it always says thunderstorms every day, Bocas has a warm, tropical climate all year. There is plenty of sunshine and rain year-round, and while there is no real “rainy” season, November and July are normally rainier.

If it is particularly wet during your stay, don’t worry; there is still plenty to do. You can have a spa day, a yoga class, go to Monkey island, or grab a board and go surfing. The ocean in Bocas del Toro is always warm!

  • Carry with you just the cash you will need for the day

As for our neighborhood – Saigon bay is a local, authentic, and rural third-world area that is much less touristy and, as a result, less well-kept than resort locations around the islands. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. This is your location if you want to experience the island as the locals do.
